Isaac will be 10 months old on the 8th of May, and he has yet to actually crawl on his hands and knees, he almost did today, so here are a few pics. He does get around by army crawling and rolling around, so I really don't think he is in any hurry to crawl, he does get around just fine...
We had a fantastic sunny day on Saturday, so we went to have a picnic in the park. Isaac discovered grass for the first time, and he LOVED swinging in the swings!!
So my girlfriend, Andrea is having a baby girl in a few weeks, so I helped throw her a baby shower and I made this quilt...it turned out so cute, it makes me want another girl! My mother-in-law, who is a master at quilting, taught me how to use her machine so I could actually do the quilting part, so that was a lot of fun. I also made this really cute diaper wreath, I thought I would try it out, and I think it turned out pretty cute..
So we went to watch Daddy play soccer on Friday. I was a little worried, last year when I was HUGE and pregnant with Isaac, I tool Ellie with me to watch Daddy play, and she just didn't understand that she could not go on to the field and play with Dad...So we went to try it out, she did so good, she played and played "soccer-ball" and she cheered Dad on from the line..."Go Daddy, way to go Daddy!!!" Isaac even enjoyed sitting in the warm stroller and eating while watching Dad play!!!
Erik and I decided last minute to take off to Idaho this last week to see my sister and brother-in-law and their kids! It was a lot of fun to see the cousins again and Ellie got to ride a pony!!! Oh my goodness, she had so much fun!! Marshall is quite the little showoff when it come to riding these things, he is on them sideways and backwards, trying to show the little ones how to do it!! Mojo, on the other hand was much more interested in the tractor, and is a very good driver for being almost 3 years old!!
We didn't do much for Easter this year, we did get to color some eggs, and have a really fun easter egg hunt at Papa's and Grandma's house! We opted out of going to some of the ones they had around town, just until Ellie is a little older and can assert herself a little better with the big kids!! It is so much fun when the kids start getting older and can get excited about all these fun little holiday traditions
"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will - to your surprise - miss them profoundly." President Thomas S. Monson
